Punggol Primary School (1995 - 2000)

Today I was watching TV and the hosts was singing "Top of the World" by Carpenters. This song really brings back a lot of wonderful memories back in those days. I still remember clearly that we sang this song for our beloved Principal, Miss Elizabeth Chan, who spent 6 years with us, the pioneer batch of the school before moving on to Roysth Primary School. It was a surprise farewell party for her from the whole school, and she enter the school's parade square in a vehicle with a roof window and she was standing and waving at us. Like the one you see in NDP. I couldn't hold back my tears at that time as it was also my final year in that school.

I made an effort to keep in contact with all my teachers and my classmates. I really do cherish this friendship and the time we spent together. I also respected each and every teacher who have taught me in either the classroom or in life. I really learnt a lot from them, and I wanted them to know how greatful I am.

I sincerely wish all teachers in Punggol Primary School and those who have taught in that school, to stay healthy and happy always.

Lastly, I really wish to know how is Miss Chan doing since she retire. Hope she is doing fine too and enjoying her retirement.

Below is the parade square where I spent my 3 years singing the national anthem and the school song. FYI, we moved from the old building to this new campus in 1997.
