It was indeed a surprise party for Coach Feiruz by me and partner! He was totally stunned by the staff showing him all the attention finally the presentation of the birthday cake! Luckily there was only 2 tables of customers left at 10pm, so it wasn't that embrassing for him. The service staff gave him a lighted fire sparkles stick and we all sang him his Birthday Song. We were suppose to meet at 8pm but they were late for 1 hour. At the very last minute, I went scrambling for a slice of cake for the birthday man. It was funny how everything come into place so nicely and we all had a good laugh and I hope he is happy with what we have planned for him. Happy 46th Birthday Coach!

South Africa World Cup 2010
The Germany Soccer team is currently in the semi-finals and they are up against Spain tomorrow at 2.30am. They have come this far and achieved so much as a team. I really admire them and their courage. I will definitely support them till the end!

Punggol Primary School (1995 - 2000)
Today I was watching TV and the hosts was singing "Top of the World" by Carpenters. This song really brings back a lot of wonderful memories back in those days. I still remember clearly that we sang this song for our beloved Principal, Miss Elizabeth Chan, who spent 6 years with us, the pioneer batch of the school before moving on to Roysth Primary School. It was a surprise farewell party for her from the whole school, and she enter the school's parade square in a vehicle with a roof window and she was standing and waving at us. Like the one you see in NDP. I couldn't hold back my tears at that time as it was also my final year in that school.
I made an effort to keep in contact with all my teachers and my classmates. I really do cherish this friendship and the time we spent together. I also respected each and every teacher who have taught me in either the classroom or in life. I really learnt a lot from them, and I wanted them to know how greatful I am.
I sincerely wish all teachers in Punggol Primary School and those who have taught in that school, to stay healthy and happy always.
Lastly, I really wish to know how is Miss Chan doing since she retire. Hope she is doing fine too and enjoying her retirement.
Below is the parade square where I spent my 3 years singing the national anthem and the school song. FYI, we moved from the old building to this new campus in 1997.
